    6:00 am - 7:00 am

IESLA TECHfast TM-30-18Finally, the means to actually USE TM-30-18! We will start with a quick review of TM-30 basics before diving into Annex E – the primary focus of the session. The annex pairs key TM-30 values with design intents, to help specifiers understand which measures are most relevant for particular applications and what value ranges to target in projects.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the basics of the IES method for evaluating light source color rendition.
  • Identify the key TM-30 measurements.
  • Describe the three color-rendering design intents in TM-30 Annex E.
  • Analyze TM-30 values to determine where a light source falls on the design intent table.
